When we saw the editors of French Vogue in lower heels during couture week, we knew major change was afoot. Long known for their sky-high stilettos and skinny jeans, French Voguettes like Jennifer Neyt have moved to a more relaxed silhouette of slouchy pants and heels no higher than three inches tall. David Thielebeule at Tory Burch SS2015
Yes, already we are back to leather jacket season and this was a particularly cool one on WSJ’s David Thiebeuele yesterday at Lincoln Center. He mixed it with a white tee, windowpane plaid pants and lace-up oxfords. Note that he did not go for sneakers – keeping it sophisticated with just the right ratio of casual to formal. You have to walk the line.
