Plus extra points for the vintage Britney Spears tee.
Maybe it’s in the genes, but Kaia Gerber is already showing off some great personal style outside the shows. She exited the Prada show in leopard pants with mules and a vintage Metallica tee in Milan. Casual but chic.
Model Teddy Quinlivan vamped it up after the Jason Wu show in a vintage-inspired look that included a pencil skirt and custom Peels uniform shirt for “Theodora.” Love it.
A nice vintage mix of dressy and casual on Clara Racz at the Calvin Klein show this winter.
Another great vintage look on Clara Racz, this time with layered men’s ties and a U.S.A. bomber jacket.
Model Magda Laguinge dressed for a cool summer day in a vintage jacket and jeans after the Chanel show in Paris. The white patent leather loafers add polish to the whole look.
Thinking of our beautiful friend Ece Sukan of Turkish Vogue today, pictured here in a vintage jacket at the Emanuel Ungaro show a week ago in Paris, and wishing for peace for Turkey.
Takin’ it to the streets: Chiara Ferragni wore a studded leather garage-type vest (vintage) to the Tommy Hilfiger show yesterday, an apt choice considering the industrial background at many of the shows during New York fashion week. And there are those Alexander Wang boots again!
Blogger Cecilie Lindegaard wore a great geometric print vintage dress to the Chanel couture show, layering it with a paneled white top that showcased the 70s collar.
Annie Georgia Greenberg kept cool on a super hot day last September in a flowing silk plaid dress that caught the breeze outside the Prabal Gurung show.
Kate Lanphear, editor-in-chief of Maxim magazine, mixed a pinstripe suit with a vintage rock tee and stilettos at the Michael Bastian show during NYFW: Men’s.
JJ Martin, who just started a new website about vintage clothing and beautiful Milan interior design, La Double J, wore a vintage floral print velvet coat to the first day of shows.
I don’t know how fashion writer J.J. Martin finds all these fabulous vintage clothes, but she certainly has an eye for them. Loved this stripey pink and black one at the Fendi show, which had side slits before so many designer started doing them this season.
This was one of my favorite “food and fashion” moments of the last women’s RTW season – the ever-glamorous Shala Monroque of Garage Magazine eating a beignet in front of the Eiffel Tower. She had arrived early for one of the shows and was just taking in the view. The vintage rabbit bag is a nod to her blog, Shala’s Rabbit Hole.
