These boots were made for walkin’! Stylist Shea Marie of Peace Love Shea has just launched a line of shoes and boots with Steve Madden, including this sexy suede over-the-knee pair. She wore them with a leopard-print Equipment dress and white jacket with fringe sleeves to the Michael Kors show yesterday.
Here’s another great summer work outfit: nautical pants and striped red top on Vogue’s Virginia Smith.
May and June are a great time to have fun with party dresses in colorful prints, like this cheetah print dress seen at the Dior Resort show in Brooklyn.
Just as there are no hard and fast rules anymore about white shoes and Memorial Day, animal prints like leopard are not just for fall. Paired with white jeans on Bryanboy at Altuzarra, a leopard print coat looks fresh for spring.
Loved this cute look on Helena Bordon at the Rochas show in Paris. She mixed a leopard print coat with a rock tee, shredded jeans and ladylike heels and bag. Pale jeans that are gently shredded at the front are a good bet for spring 2014.
In case you are not Karolina Kurkova or Susie Bubble, here’s a lesson on how to wear leather sweatpants, as demonstrated by Kate Dimmock of People Style Watch. It’s all about balance – mixing the sporty pants with a professional camel coat and a nice bit of tweed print on her top. The leopard print sandals add a little more fun.
I nearly died when I saw fashion consultant Kate Schelter‘s all-over leopard look and wide-brimmed hat at Thakoon. I mean… how much better does it get?! Here she is in front of the Empire Diner on Tenth Avenue, which, by the way, is now under the stewardship of chef Amanda Freitag and open for business.
Fashion blogger Evelyn Song mixed a vintage blue leopard print jacket with burgundy check Zara pants and a crop top for a cool, swingy look outside the Chloe show.
A really fun moment with Giovanna Battaglia outside the Rochas show in Paris. She wore a (vintage?) Alaia leopard print dress and yellow Fendi bag. Très chic!
Miroslava Duma arrived at the Victoria Beckham show in a crisp belted yellow leopard tank and blue pants perfect for the variable September weather we’ve been having in NYC.
Here’s another great transitional look for September – a silk cheetah print blouse and elegant black high-waisted trousers on stylist Barbara Martello, seen here outside the Dior couture show.
Two editors at the Diesel Black Gold show put together great outfits for spring, pairing pale cotton pants with bright colors or prints on top. Note the cropped length of the pants: it’s sexy and chic to show a little ankle, especially with heels.
