Thinking of our beautiful friend Ece Sukan of Turkish Vogue today, pictured here in a vintage jacket at the Emanuel Ungaro show a week ago in Paris, and wishing for peace for Turkey.
More black and white, this time on Stylebop’s Leila Yavari. This cut of this leather skirt is perfect for 2015 – slim but not quite a pencil cut, with an athletic-style gathered waist.
Loved this burst of yellow and white at the Kenzo show in Paris, plus the amazing architectural details on her sweater.
It may not be warm enough to ditch that outer layer just yet, but at least we can switch from black to blue for a more springlike look, as Caroline Issa did with a belted coat at the Kenzo show in Paris.
A great combination of a bomber jacket in army green and Coca Cola sweatshirt with a feminine white skirt and pom pom heels outside the Kenzo show in Paris.
Colorful knits can be like visual vitamin C during a long winter and make great holiday gifts. Model Xiao Wen Ju wore a pink, blue and black sweater, scarf and top by Kenzo after walking the show in Paris.
“These are my wings,” Garage Magazine’s Michelle Elie said of her leather Comme des Garçons halter and sleeves outside the Kenzo show in Paris. A huge supporter of designer Rei Kawakubo, Elie treats fashion like wearable art, not just something to wear. It’s always refreshing to see during fashion week. The shorts are Jil Sander.
Blogger Laura Tønder of Couturekulten wore all black and white, including Prada black and white floral sunglasses, to the Kenzo show in Paris.
Japanese DJ Mademoiselle Yulia wore the Kenzo fish print jacket and blue leather mini to the Kenzo show yesterday. Her hair, makeup and nails are more elaborate than some of the beauty you see on the actual runways – detail shot after the jump. (more…)
Colorful abstract leopard prints by Kenzo got a lot of play outside the shows in Paris, especially at Kenzo’s own show, where Japanese DJ and designer Mademoiselle Yulia wore a Kenzo dress and coat that complemented her elaborately multicolored hair.
Garage Magazine‘s Michelle Elie is one of my favorite women to photograph at fashion week, because she’s not afraid to take risks. She wore a particularly cool outfit to the Kenzo show: Kenzo top, Miu Miu platforms, and an H&M visor. Close up of those shoes, after the jump. (more…)
Photographer and stylist Zhanna Romashka wore her favorite color combination of red and blue to the Kenzo show, a particularly apt color mix in Paris. Her head wreath of silk roses echoed the floral head wreaths we saw a lot of last summer on girls at music festivals like Bonnaroo – in case you’re looking for some festival dressing ideas.
