A Beatles tee and flared plaid pants for some retro cool on Helena Bordon in NYC.
If you’re going to have to wear a winter coat well into March, at least make it a big pink one, as Helena Bordon did at Carolina Herrera. This Pepto Bismol pink shade kept popping up on guests at the shows during Fashion Month.
Layering is more than a means of keeping warm. At the Sacai show in Paris, Helena Bordon layered a turtleneck under a patent leather bustier for a look that was both chic and cozy. This technique dials down the sexiness of slip dresses and strapless tops to make them work for daytime. It’s also a way of extending your summer wardrobe into the cooler months.
Silk pleats in an abstract floral print are light and lovely for a summer day in Midtown, as seen on Helena Bordon at the Hugo Boss SS2016 show.
Even when the temperature isn’t cooperating, you can bring in the spring with a dose of bright color, as Helena Bordon did in a zippy orange Dior dress outside the couture show. Layer a spring dress over a black top, tights or boots to ease yourself out of winter.
One good thing about super hot weather: nothing comes between you and your accessories. Helena Bordon wore a Snob Essentials crossbody bag over striped shorts and a striped crop top at the Prabal Gurung show.
Wow! A cute look on Helena Bordon at the Atelier Versace show in Paris yesterday.
One of my favorite looks on Helena Bordon during Paris fashion week. A striped maxi skirt or dress is a great base for spring layering, and I love how she mixed it with a sheer white off the shoulder sweater. Chloe green bag.
Helena Bordon wore a cute Bugs Bunny-themed Moschino dress to the Roberto Cavalli show in Milan. A shot of her palm print Les Petits Jouers backpack, after the jump. (more…)
One good thing about cold weather: it’s an excuse to layer! Helena Bordon wore a Cris Barron jacket and Louis Vuitton purse to the Lacoste show yesterday. Detail shot, after the jump.
Who would have thought that Fendi bags would still be so popular more than a decade after the Fendi baguette craze? And yet that seems to be the case, with many a fashionista toting them around this past fashion week season. They’re also a little more practical than investing in just the “monster” charm. Helena Bordon paired a Fendi bag with blue and white pajama style pants and an orange coral necklace at the Nina Ricci show in Paris. Full length shot, after the jump. (more…)
Loved this cute look on Helena Bordon at the Rochas show in Paris. She mixed a leopard print coat with a rock tee, shredded jeans and ladylike heels and bag. Pale jeans that are gently shredded at the front are a good bet for spring 2014.
Helena Bordon put together a traffic-stopping outfit at the Derek Lam show. The cute Elvis-quoting sweatshirt is Opening Ceremony, the skirt Acne, the houndstooth coat Daslu and the necklace by Parfois.
