The seafolly suit is reminiscent of the Carmen Marc Valvo suit (the one Miranda wore in the SATC movie). It’s flattering–I just bought it! All I need now is a swimming pool and/or beach.

Yes I looked last season too and was surprised there wasn’t more selection in stores – the retro swimwear look was big on the runways previously with designers like Abaete, but somehow that never translated to what was available. Hopefully now retailers are getting the message! This stuff looks really cute on.

THANK YOU ANTHROPOLOGIE for curating an awesome collection of swimwear. I looked for retro-style suits last season, and had a terrible time finding something that wasn’t too “grandma,” or too provocative burlesque style. This is classy, stylish and covered, for those of us who don’t love baring absolutely every inch we’ve got!
