Kate Moss Summer Collection at Topshop – Top Picks

A new batch of Kate Moss clothes comes out tomorrow at Topshop, and unless you have more tolerance for dressing room lines than I do, you might want to shop online. As the Topshop copy goes, “Taking inspiration from Kate’s summer travels, her latest pieces are rich in texture and heavily embellished,” and indeed, the elaborate and ’70s Morocco-style designs are the most lust-worthy. Here’s a preview of some top picks – no pricing details yet.
A sequined cardigan seems counterintuitive for summer, which is just what’s so appealing about this silver one. Very chic. The sheer zebra-striped top/dress underneath merits further investigation as well.
I keep thinking maxi dresses are going to die, but they just keep going and going. No wonder: they’re the right mix between dressed-up and casual, style and comfort. This black-and-white striped one (silk?) is quite elegant.
Moss has been spotted in big earrings in the last few months, but when I see these, I just think: ouch! The tie-dye top is perfection, though – and note the sandals – also Topshop?
This green-and-white pattern is incredibly vibrant without being over the top. A wonderfully sexy dress.
