Most of it is regrettable, but fashion is undeniably a big player inWorking Girl (1988). Would Melanie Griffith ever have gotten the job had she not borrowed numerous power suits and sexy sheaths from Sigourney Weaver’s closet? Unlikely. Ever time you see a power suit, think of Working Girl. Tess McGill even served as inspiration for Alexander Wang.
